Its density is 0.89-0.9g/cm3, only 1/9 of steel pipe's and 1/10 of copper pipe's, so it is quite light in weight, which brings less freight and labor intensity of installation.

The material of PP-R pipe consists of carbon and hydrogen without any addition of stabilizer of heavy metal. The safety and health of the material has passed the test of national authoritative department.

Except a few kinds of oxidizer, the pipe can resist many kinds of chemicals, and never cause rust, corrosion, growth of bacteria and electrochemical corrosion.

The pipe built in the wall, floor, etc can prevent expansion. Pressure and tension are all spreaded, thus protect all kinds of materials. If there is insulation material (conform to relevant standard), it allows more expansion.

With a complete pipe system, it can satisfy the demand of most engineerings．

The fusion connection is adopted to connect all the pipes and fittings that are made of the same materials. The tension, bending, or impulse at the joint is better than the pipe, which puts an end to the leakage.

If the operating water temperature is 70℃, it can be used in a long period, but in a short period if the water temperature comes to 95℃. Its softening temperature is 140℃

The thermal coefficient of PP-R materials is 0.21- 0.24W/mk at 20℃, which is much better than steel pipe (43-53W/mk) and copper pipe (333W/mk), so it has good insulation property.

The service life of PP-R pipe has come to more than 50 years under the rated operating temperature and pressure.

As the inside wall of the pipe is very smooth, no scale will be formed. Its friction coefficient is only 0.007, much smaller than that of metal pipe. Therefore, it has been increased 30% in flowing ability, compared with metal pipe in the same size.

No pollution will be caused in the course of production, installments and utilization, so it is called green products.

PP-R pipe is close to galvanized pipe in price, easy to be installed and much lower in its cost.
